J. A. Parker is President of Jay Parker & Associates, Inc. an international consulting firm. He is also President of The Lincoln Institute for Research and Education, Inc., a non-profit, independent, non-partisan public policy organization in Washington, D.C. Mr. Parker serves as publisher and editor of the Lincoln Review Letter, as a member of The Salvation Army's National Advisory Board and the Chairman of the Board of The Lighthouse Inc. Mr. Parker served on President Reagan's Transition Team as chairman of the Transition Team at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and as a member of the White House Fellowships Regional Selection Panel. A former member of the Board of Visitors of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Mr. Parker served as a director of Computer Data Systems, Inc., a debit insurance salesman and talk program host. Mr. Parker was born and raised in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Parker and his wife Dolores reside in Great Falls, Virginia. The Parker family's daughters also live in northern Virginia.
